Original foldable side table model 4508 by Fritz Hansen, Denmark, designed in 1958 by Svend Åge Willumsen & Hans Engholm.
The table features a removable round tray resting on an elegantly shaped folding base. The softly curved leg connections and slender construction are characteristic examples of high-quality Scandinavian mid-century furniture design from the late 1950s.
This piece comes from the early production period of model 4508 and is completely made of teak. Unlike the current oak reissue, it features the warm teak grain typical of early Fritz Hansen productions.
The folding construction allows the base to be stored away easily. Suitable as a side table, coffee table, serving table or classic tray table in a Scandinavian interior.

Condition
Very well-preserved vintage condition with only minimal signs of age and use. Minor wear at one folding joint area of the legs. Overall a very clean and attractive original example.
