Vintage butter, caviar or small cooling dish by Haesco Schmidt & Co., Großbreitenbach, East Germany.
The piece dates from the 1950s/1960s and is made of mirrored glass with a glazed ceramic base. The rounded shape, white foot and orange-red accents make it a lovely example of East German tableware from this period.
