Vintage Baltic amber necklace with elegant silver chain and decorative floral centrepiece.
The necklace originates from the same Baltic amber jewellery collection as several matching pieces, including a ring and amber pendants offered separately.
A hallmark is present on one of the connecting loops, although it is now difficult to read. After consultation with an experienced antiques and jewellery dealer, the piece is believed to be Polish Baltic amber jewellery from the Gdańsk (Danzig) region. The style, workmanship, hallmark and provenance strongly support this attribution.
The amber displays the warm honey and cognac tones typically associated with genuine Baltic amber.
