Small espresso or mocha cup from the Thomas “Medaillon” series with matching saucer in the striking “Onyx” pattern.

The Medaillon shape was designed by Hans Theo Baumann in the early 1960s and is considered an important example of modern German design. The bold black-and-white decoration gives the set a timeless and contemporary appearance.

The espresso and mocha cups from this series are encountered less frequently than the larger coffee and tea cups. They are ideal both as an addition to an existing service and simply for espresso lovers and admirers of the graphic Onyx design.
