A beautifully preserved tea set by the Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg from the LOTOS service, designed by Wolfgang von Wersin in 1932.
Particularly charming is the combination of five complete place settings in different pastel shades. Together with the delicate apricot-coloured serving pieces – the teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug – they form an exceptionally harmonious ensemble.
The clear and restrained design of LOTOS still appears remarkably timeless today.

The pieces bear the green Nymphenburg underglaze mark. The teapot, sugar bowl and milk jug additionally bear impressed Nymphenburg/manufacturing marks; some pieces also show handwritten painter's marks.

Condition:
The tea set is in a very beautiful and exceptionally well-preserved condition. The pastel colours remain clear and even.
