I live in a picturesque half-timbered village in Northern Hesse, right by the edge of the forest.
My fascination for beautiful old things has been with me since childhood.
For over 35 years, I've been collecting, discovering and selling design classics, antiques and special objects – pieces with character, history and genuine style.

How did the name “OberSchick” come about?

The name OberSchick might sound a bit bold at first – but it makes sense with a wink.
My last name is Ober and I have a passion for chic, stylish things.
“Oberschick” is a playful combination of my name and what I love most: making beautiful things visible.
