Rare Guido Galbiati Milano Space Age bar set in futuristic egg shape, model 0413, from the 1960s/70s. Complete with interior fittings, original glasses, fabric cover and original box.
The ensemble combines Italian Mid-Century style with functional barware and works equally well as a stylish ice cooler or decorative design object for a home bar, lounge or Space Age interior.
Signed “Galbiati” to the underside with model number 0413 and the addition “Mod. Depositato”. The inner holder is also correspondingly marked.
The lid can be lifted using the central knob handle. Inside is space for a bottle, while the glasses are positioned around it in their holders.
The satin-finished surface shows only minimal age-related wear and fine scratches. One original glass has a small chip to the upper rim. The glasses also show light age-related glass corrosion.
Due to its timeless design, the set can also be beautifully combined with modern minimalist glasses if desired. Buyers wishing to stay with the original brand will still find suitable glassware collections from Galbiati Milano today. Elegant glasses by makers such as Peill & Putzler or Villeroy & Boch also pair beautifully with the ensemble.
All age-related signs of wear have naturally been taken into account in the pricing.
