Small Erzgebirge sewing box from the 1960s/70s. Features a hand-painted sailor figure playing an accordion. The large mushroom serves as a detachable darning mushroom. Includes three spindles for thread reels (one possibly for a thimble), a needle cushion on top, and a small drawer for additional sewing supplies or fabric patches.
Manufacturer not confirmed, possibly Wendt & Kühn based on the facial painting style.
