The metal part is stamped “W / GERMANY”, a mark used by the Bing Works Nürnberg (GBN) between 1924 and 1934.
The porcelain insert is hand-painted, stylistically attributed to Teichert Meissen, early 20th-century production.
A full-size dinner plate (approx. 24 cm / 9.5 in) with screw cap underneath for filling with hot water – a functional hot plate from the 1920s–30s.
